The London Olympics

During term three all the students from Prep-Grade 6 have been studying the London Olympics.

The Prep and Grade One students have been busy making some Olympic torches, Olympic team peg people, Big Ben, Mascots, Olympic chain people, sport rubbings and Stonehenge.  They have been very creative in the work they have completed.
Well done!

The Grade Three, Four and Five students have painted their own Olympic Stadiums, made Big Ben Clock rubbings and created their own Olympian sport stencil and used these to make a rubbing to create a picture.  Students have additionally done some continuous line drawings about the Olympics and have made some beautiful silhouette castles with a sunset behind.  They have been working hard.
Keep up the great work!

The Grade Five and Six students have been busy.  They finished off their Arid Land Animals which are just fantastic! For the first few weeks they created their own 3D Olympic Stadiums, some working in groups and some as individuals.  They also created their own stencils of Olympians and made rubbings of these and created a picture around them. Finally they have made a rubbing onto paper, drawn a design for their castle and then cut it out and pasted onto a background they created with coloured cover paper and chalk pastels.
Great Job Grade Five and Six!
